Everything it takes to go native.

Engage us for a single phase or the whole journey. Every engagement is shaped around your product, your team and how fast you need to move.

01

Plan

Know exactly what you’re taking on before you commit.

Transition Strategy & Planning

A clear-eyed assessment of your current app and a phased roadmap to native — scoped, sequenced and costed before a single line is rewritten.

Every migration is different. We start by understanding what you have: the screens, native modules, third-party SDKs, release process and the people who maintain it all. From there we design a target architecture and a sequence that keeps your product shipping throughout — no big-bang rewrites, no feature freezes you can’t afford.

What you get

  • Codebase, dependency and feature audit
  • Target native architecture (with or without KMP)
  • Incremental migration roadmap and risk register
  • Effort, staffing and cost estimates
02

Prepare

Get your people and platform ready for native.

Team Enablement

Turn your existing React Native or Flutter engineers into confident Swift and Kotlin developers — through hands-on pairing, not slide decks.

Your team already knows your product better than anyone. We help them carry that knowledge across. Training is built around your real code, and our engineers work alongside yours so skills transfer while the migration moves forward.

What you get

  • Skills assessment and individual learning paths
  • Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Compose workshops on your codebase
  • Embedded pairing and code review
  • Hiring support for native roles
03

Execute

Build and migrate — incrementally, with your team.

Migration Execution

Our engineers lead or join the build, moving your app to native screen by screen while it stays live in the stores.

We favour incremental, brownfield migrations: native screens are introduced alongside your existing app and take over one flow at a time. Users see steady improvement, your roadmap keeps moving, and risk stays small at every step.

What you get

  • Brownfield integration (native and cross-platform side by side)
  • Feature-by-feature migration with parity testing
  • Performance and stability baselines
  • Clean handoff documentation

Kotlin Multiplatform

Share business logic, networking and data layers across iOS and Android while keeping each UI fully native.

Kotlin Multiplatform can be the right middle ground — one implementation of the logic that matters, with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose on top. We help you decide if it fits, and set it up so both platform teams enjoy working with it.

What you get

  • Assessment of what to share and what not to
  • Shared module architecture and build setup
  • Swift interop and API design for iOS teams
  • Gradual adoption plan

AI-Assisted Migration

Custom AI workflows that accelerate translation, testing and review — guided and verified by senior native engineers.

Much of a migration is repetitive, and that is where AI shines. We build workflows that understand your code, conventions and design system, then pair them with experienced engineers who review every change. The result is speed without sacrificing quality. We work fully by hand, too — whatever suits your team and constraints.

What you get

  • Agentic pipelines tailored to your codebase
  • Automated component and screen translation
  • Generated parity and regression tests
  • Human-in-the-loop review process

New Native Products

Starting fresh? We take new ideas from design and prototype through to production-ready native apps on iOS and Android.

Not every project is a migration. If you’re starting something new and want it native from day one, we bring the same experience to building it right from the start.

What you get

  • Product and technical discovery
  • Rapid native prototypes
  • Production architecture and build-out
  • Launch and store readiness
04

Sustain

Keep native apps fast, current and healthy for the long run.

Platform & Tooling

CI/CD, build infrastructure, modularization and release automation that keep large native codebases fast and healthy.

Native at scale needs a solid platform underneath. We’ve built and run the tooling for large mobile organisations and bring those patterns to yours, sized to where you are today.

What you get

  • CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android
  • Build performance and caching
  • Modular architecture and shared design systems
  • Automated release and store delivery

Ongoing Maintenance

Long-running support — by hand or AI-augmented — to keep your apps current with every OS release, SDK change and store requirement.

Shipping native is the beginning, not the end. We can stay on to keep things current, or set up workflows and practices so your team can do it with confidence.

What you get

  • OS and SDK upgrade cycles
  • Dependency and security updates
  • Monitoring, crash and performance triage
  • AI-assisted maintenance workflows

FAQ

Common questions

Do we have to rewrite our whole app at once to go native?

No. We favour incremental, brownfield migrations: native screens are added alongside your existing React Native or Flutter app and take over one flow at a time. Your app stays live in the App Store and Google Play, and your roadmap keeps moving throughout.

Should we use Kotlin Multiplatform or build separate native iOS and Android apps?

It depends on your product and team. Kotlin Multiplatform works well for sharing business logic, networking and data layers while keeping SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose interfaces fully native. Separate codebases can be simpler when the platforms diverge a lot. Our transition planning looks at your code and team to recommend the right mix.

Xamarin support has ended. What are our options?

Microsoft ended support for all Xamarin SDKs, including Xamarin.Forms, on May 1, 2024. The main paths forward are .NET MAUI or native iOS and Android, optionally with Kotlin Multiplatform. We help you compare them for your app and plan a migration that keeps you shipping.

Can our React Native developers learn Swift and Kotlin?

Yes. Your engineers already know your product, and that knowledge carries over. Our team enablement pairs them with experienced native engineers on your real codebase, with workshops in Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, so skills transfer while the migration moves forward.

How do you use AI in a mobile migration?

We build AI workflows tailored to your codebase that help translate components and screens, generate parity and regression tests, and speed up long-term maintenance. Senior native engineers review every change. We also work fully by hand when that suits your team better.

How long does a migration to native take?

It depends on the size of the app, its native modules and third-party SDKs, and how much of your team's time is available. A transition planning engagement gives you a scoped, phased roadmap with effort, staffing and cost estimates before any rewriting starts.

Not sure where to start?

Most engagements begin with a short conversation and a look at your codebase. We'll help you figure out which of these you actually need.
